Procurement Governance / Procurement Policy & Process 

Position: Interim (3 Month Contract)

Day Rate: £500 Per Day  

Location: Guilford, Surrey 

The Procurement Governance consultant plays a pivotal role in the transformation of the Procurement function. You will take ownership for developing and implementing robust governance schemes, embedding governance policies and processes throughout, including new systems and operational workflows to enable effective change.

Main Responsibilities for the Role will Include: 

  • Manage all the governance activities of the Procurement function and seek to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, simplification and consolidation of existing policies / processes.
  • Support the creation, maintenance and implementation of policy / processes / guides while ensuring the mechanisms and frameworks meet each requirement to support the wider-vision and strategic objectives.
  • Develop a governance strategy
  • Work directly with senior leaders in procurement and beyond to establish a roadmap for procurement strategy to underpin all strategic systems and processes.
  • Writing Procurement policies, processes and guidelines.
